AccountingWorx pilot terms
Pilot terms · last updated 24 October 2026
1. A pilot, not the finished product
AccountingWorx is being piloted. You're using an early version so we can test it and improve it with your feedback. Features may change, be withdrawn or stop working, and the service may be unavailable at times.
The pilot is free unless we agree otherwise in writing. We can end the pilot, or your access to it, at any time, and will try to give you reasonable notice.
2. Check everything before you rely on it
Figures, reports, tax calculations, coding suggestions, extracted invoice details and any AI-generated content may be wrong or incomplete. You're responsible for checking them before you rely on them, and for the records, returns and advice you prepare or give.
AccountingWorx isn't yet accredited by the ATO. Lodgements, Single Touch Payroll and super contributions go to built-in test (sandbox) services and don't reach the ATO or any fund. Bank feeds are test connections unless we tell you otherwise. Keep lodging and paying through your usual channels.
Nothing in AccountingWorx is financial, tax or legal advice.
3. Your data
You keep ownership of the data you put in. We use it only to run the service for you, to keep it secure, and to fix and improve the pilot. It's stored in Australia.
Because this is a pilot, keep your own copies of anything important. Data may need to be reset or migrated during the pilot; we'll try to warn you first and help you export it.
Only enter client or personal information you're allowed to share, and keep your account secure (a strong password and two-step sign-in). Tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.
4. Using the pilot properly
Don't use the pilot unlawfully, try to get around its security, access other people's data, or put an unreasonable load on it. Keep anything we tell you about unreleased features confidential.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them to improve AccountingWorx without owing you anything for them.
5. Responsibility
The pilot is provided as it is, without warranties, except any that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or revenue, from using the pilot, and our total liability is limited to resupplying the service.
6. Changes and contact
We may update these terms during the pilot. If the change matters, we'll ask you to accept the new version before you carry on.
These terms are governed by the laws in force in Australia. Questions or concerns: reply to any email from AccountingWorx.
